FAQ

Section 1: Product & Craftsmanship

  • Q1. Is framing required?
No. Every canvas comes ready to hang with a pre-installed wire. No framing, no tools, no hassle — simply unbox and display.

  • Q2. Is this printed or hand-painted?
Our artworks are digitally restored from rare 19th–20th century botanical archives and giclée printed on museum-grade canvas using archival inks. This process ensures gallery-level detail, sharpness, and longevity, with colors that remain true for decades.

  • Q3. What sizes are best for my space?
    -  16×20 in.
→ Perfect for shelves, desks, or layered wall displays.
    -  24×36 in. → Ideal for bedrooms, entryways, or medium-sized walls.
    -  30×40 in. → Makes a statement in living rooms or dining rooms.

  • Q4. What makes Vintelique different from other wall art?
Most wall art is decorative. Ours is heritage-driven. Each piece revives forgotten botanical illustrations from the 1800s, restored with precision, and reimagined for today’s homes. You’re not just hanging décor — you’re preserving visual history and bringing timeless artistry into your living space.
  • Q5. What kind of canvas do you use?
We print on a museum-grade, archival-quality canvas made from a poly-cotton blend. This material offers the perfect balance of texture, durability, and color retention — designed to last over 100 years without fading when cared for properly.

  • Q6. What printing process do you use?
Each artwork is giclée printed using high-fidelity, solvent-based pigment inks calibrated in Adobe RGB color space. This method delivers ultra-fine detail, rich tonal range, and gallery-level depth — far beyond standard digital printing.

  • Q7. Is the canvas glossy or matte?
We use a semi-gloss protective coating that enhances color richness while maintaining an elegant, museum-grade finish. It also adds resistance to UV light, scratches, and moisture. A matte finish is available upon request.

Section 5: Brand & Story

  • Q1. Why vintage botanicals?
We revive forgotten botanical illustrations from the 1800s, restoring every detail with precision and artistry. Each piece is more than décor — it’s a fragment of history, reimagined for today’s homes.

  • Q2. Where are canvases made?
Every canvas is printed-to-order in the U.S. through our fine art production studio. Using museum-grade materials and professional wrapping, each piece is carefully finished so it arrives ready to hang and built to last.

Section 6: Care & Preservation

  • Q1. How do I clean my canvas?

Each Vintelique piece is sealed with a protective semi-gloss coating that resists dust, scratches, and moisture.
    Important:
Never use harsh chemicals, sprays, or abrasive materials. Let the canvas air dry naturally after cleaning — never soak or expose to excessive moisture.
Gently dust using a soft, dry cloth or feather duster & For deeper cleaning, lightly wipe with a clean damp (not wet) cloth. Avoid scrubbing.

  • Q2. Where should I hang my canvas for best longevity?
    - Avoid direct sunlight, which can gradually fade even archival inks.
    - Keep away from humid environments like bathrooms or unventilated kitchens, as high moisture may lead to warping or mildew over time.
    - Use interior walls that remain dry and temperate year-round.

  • Q3. Will the colors fade over time?
Not at all — our museum-grade giclée prints use archival pigment inks rated to last over 100+ years without fading when displayed indoors under normal conditions.
Each piece is designed to be a lasting heirloom — a timeless fragment of visual history made to endure.

  • Q4. What if the canvas gets scratched or scuffed?
Minor surface marks can often be touched up using a clean dry cloth or in rare cases, a soft eraser.
If there’s visible ink loss or damage, we recommend contacting our support team for professional touch-up tips or replacement options.
